Still a Runner, even after childbirth

Remember me? 

As it turns out, it’s hard for me to write about running when I’m not doing much of it.  For some reason, it’s also hard for me to write about not-running when that is exactly what I’m doing.  But if I’m running, it is much easier for me to write about both running and not-running.

However, I’m still firmly lodged in that not-running category.  But the end is in sight!  I hope to be cleared to run within a week’s time.

Which gives me six days to get caught up before launching into my next running endeavor – getting back into shape after childbirth. 

For the record, I really intend to follow through on this return to the blogosphere.  Really.

I used to run. Some days, I even ran fast. Then I got a job. And met a boy. And bought a house. And rescued a dog. And rescued another dog. And went back to school. And created human life. I might not run every day, or even every week. There’s a good possibility that I will never be fast again. But I’m still a runner.
